Abstract: Patent mortgage is a legal mechanism that allows innovators and companies to provide temporary financing by mortgaging patent rights. Through our research, we have highlighted the clarification of patent mortgage in terms of the concept as a mechanism that allows the owner of the invention to use his patent as collateral to obtain funding from an organization or financial body. As well as the conditions required by the law, such as formality, transfer of possession, notation of the mortgage contract in the patent registry and its publication, and also knowledge of the provisions that underlie the patent mortgage, whether they are commercial mortgage provisions or civil mortgage provisions, and since the patent mortgage is a contract, this means It does not last forever, but it must end in one of the stipulated forms of expiration, depending on the type of religion.
