Abstract: . This study aims to reveal the most important causative and encouraging factors to commit crime, and to present the most important social theories that explain it. This study falls within the framework of descriptive research aimed at describing and analyzing the phenomenon studied. This study concluded that no matter how many types and sources of crime are, their effects and consequences, whether on the individual, family or society, are intertwined and intertwined. The consequences of criminal behavior are intertwined and interact together, and some of them lead to others to pose a real and serious threat to the social and economic structures of the family and society alike.
