Civil translator's responsibility for his professional faults (comparative study)
Abstract
In our research, we discussed the responsibility of the civil translator for his professional mistakes and translation means the transfer of knowledge and cultures from one language to another so that the meaning of it should be carefully defined by the inclusion of an exhaustive definition and then we discussed in the statement of the legal conditions to be available in the work of the translator and then Yan that responsibility whether it be in the wrong or the fault and therefore in both cases that responsibility will undoubtedly be realized by the availability of the elements of error and damage and the causal relationship between the fault and the damage, which requires compensation for the damage suffered by the owner of the intellectual property right, in particular, and that the idea of compensation goes with The damage is a presence and a lack of severity and weakness and therefore no compensation where there is no harm from the foregoing, we have proposed to the Iraqi legislature the need to enact a law regulating the translation work and a sober, precise and clear legal formulation, free from ambiguity and contradiction in the texts of its articles.
