Abstract

The research examines election campaigns beyond the stages of the electoral process, through which each candidate can express himself, his ideas and his electoral program and explain it to the electorate, so that he can get popular support for the election, and the election campaigns are based on the principles such as the equality of candidates in campaigning, and the neutrality of State authorities to candidates during campaigns, restrictions should be placed on campaigns for the purpose of organizing them, as some candidates harness all their human and material potential to change the election result to gain access to power, so campaigns are One of the means by which it is resorted to, and then gives a picture of itself, its program, its work mechanisms and its political perception of the public is contrary to reality, and many countries in their electoral legislation define a time period for campaigning in terms of the start date of campaigning Of the electoral period or the so-called electoral silence, and it can therefore be said that the time frame of the electoral campaigns consists of the start and end of the electoral campaigns, which is now a period of silence.
