Abstract

After studying the Iraqi personal status law at the University of Tikrit for several years I formed these observations and opinions on the personal status law of Iraq, I liked to put it between the students of the Faculty of Law and specialists in Iraqi law, whether they were judges or the officials for the introduction and to rid the personal status law of Hnat and some Articles that violate Islamic law, as some paragraphs of this law as I think and from the perspective of good thought legislator was written hastily and others were written in order to protect women from Some of the customs that are harmful to women, however, the authors of these paragraphs did not take according to them the opinion of Islamic jurisprudents or they worked hard in that they made mistakes, so in order to defend Islam first and to protect women from some alien views on the Muslim countries. The important thing is to call for the application of what is stated in the Koran and the right year to be believers as the Almighty said (not and Lord do not believe until you rule among them) () and to keep away from the description of the wrongdoers and oppressors of those who did not judge what God revealed, "And whoever does not judge what God has revealed, those are the oppressors" ()
And I am sure that those who read these observations of officials and decision makers and those who believe in faith and devotion to this religion will study these views in order to review the law and purged of the lapses and speculation in it.
Finally, ask God Almighty to have this work purely to his face and to benefit me by the day does not benefit money and sons only those who came with a sound heart,
