Abstract

:  In fact, one of the most important and fundamental objectives of the United Nations is to maintain international peace and security through a set of procedures and measures stipulated in the Charter, and through the broad powers granted to the General Assembly and the Security Council.

The General Assembly and the Security Council are among the most important organs of the United Nations, where the General Assembly enjoys the importance of expressing the opinion of the group, as it includes all the member states of the United Nations, in addition to the fact that the Security Council is the main authority in the maintenance of international peace and security, where the Charter of the United Nations was entrusted. The United Nations has the primary responsibility for maintaining international peace and security.
